Yay, I finally got The Silmarillion this Saturday!
It was one of my birthday gifts, along with some other stuff I got. Its a First American Edition; so its used but in good condition.
Someone actually wrote the date 8-24-78 in it, so its pretty old! Here's a few photos I found of the version that I have on Google. It has a picture of J. R. R.
